Vale Tony Fahey

One behalf of the South Bunbury Football Club,
we would like to pass on our deepest condolences to the family of Tony Fahey.
Tony served our football club with distinction for 14 year as Treasure from 2000 to 2013.
He would have turned 74 on December 3
Thankyou to Craig Cahill for this great Tribute
Tony Fahey had been involved with Marist Juniors and both he and Peter Dwyer were following their young blokes into the Tiger Colts. When asked Tony immediately jumped at the challenge and for a long period until 2013 I believe he became one of the best ever treasurers that the South Bunbury Football club has ever had. Tony served under 4 presidents over a 14 year period with 7 grand final appearances and a period of great prosperity for the Club. His control of budgets and expenditure was second to none. Tony became both a professional + personal confidante to many people at the Club who in turn became lifelong friends with him. Tony actively got involved in every social event that we had at the club during that period. He loved the Players Reviews and was a dual champion of the Annual Bladder Buster evening of which he was extremely proud. He served the club long after Scott had moved to Perth simply because he loved the club environment and people involved. A number of Club members visited Tony in the last few days and he reminisced in great detail of the wonderful times and great people that he had become associated with at the Club
