Bar Manager

A position is available for Bar Manager. The SBFC is a successful sporting Club based in Bunbury, in the south west of WA. The Club participate in the AFL football for men, women and juniors, as well as senior and junior netball teams. Our facilities are an inclusive environment for families, supporters and all community.

The responsibilities of the successful applicant will include;

  • Monitoring stock
  • Ensuring bar is well stock and

    clean

  • Hire, train, promote and when necessary discipline or dismiss staff
  • Determine employee schedules
  • Select and purchaser liquor and

    other supplies

Use and maintain sales reporting

Oversee staff

Apply for permits for extended trading when required

Maintain vendor relationships Manage venue bookings
Oversee staff accreditations

The Bar Manager must have or be eligible to be registered as a Manager with licencing regulations.

The successful applicant should have friendly, social and welcoming disposition to suit our clientele, guests and members. They should also possess a good working knowledge of all aspects of responsible service of alcohol to match our culture and expectations.

The position is a part time position with remuneration determined by Registered Clubs Award, or as negotiated. Weekend and game day work will be required.
