South Bunbury player, Kloe Bassett has won tonight’s Nola Marino Medal, for the Fairest and Best Player in the Women’s competition in 2020, in the South West Football League.
Bassett won convincingly, amassing 19 Votes across eight games to claim the medal by six votes.
Bassett scored the maximum votes in round one, three, four, seven and nine, while scoring two votes against fellow Grand Final Team Busselton in round five and a further two votes in round six against Harvey Bulls.
Bassett was asked what the future held, but Bassett was looking no further than this Sunday’s Grand Final at Hands Oval. In a great season for Bassett she would also be announced as the winner of the Halifax Crane Hire Player of the Year, voted by the Coaches.
